Walk up to the clubhouse and you will notice something different. The pro shop is not where it used to be, and it is not what it used to be either. This is the biggest change to the retail side of Oakbrook Golf & Leisure Club since we started, and it is worth slowing down for.
WHY WE MOVED
The old spot worked fine for a while, but it was not built for how people actually shop before and after a round. We moved the pro shop right next to the parking lot, so it is the first thing you see when you arrive and the easiest thing to duck into on your way out. Grab a glove before your tee time. Grab a shirt after your round without cutting across the whole property to get to your car.
It sounds small until you have done it the old way a hundred times. A pro shop should not be a detour. It should be on the path you were already walking.

Staff who play golf and wear the gear daily will walk you through toe box width, stack height, and how a zero drop platform changes your stance at address, not just your size on the box. Ten minutes in a fitting chair usually changes what someone walks out with.
